Packing List For Nomads
As a digital nomad, being able to downsize is very important. Whether you travel with everything you own or have a storage unit somewhere, you don't want to be hauling overly heavy bags for every move.
In my case, everything I own must fit into my bags. I have a luggage set (one checked and one carry-on) and one backpack. That's it!
Here's what I travel with:
BTW- there are affiliate links here, so I make a commission if you buy any of these. No extra cost to you though.
Luggage set - Hard-shelled set of 2 with spinner wheels like this one.
Camera bag - This has been life-changing. It fits all of my vlogging equipment (including straps for the tripod) & my laptop. It's quite affordable, too. Here's the link to that.
If you wanna' check out my vlogging kit, it's here.
Packing cubes - This is the secret to keeping your bags organized. I have a Herschel set that comes with 3 (small, medium & large) & a wet/dry pack.
However, you might not need to buy ones. Do you know the little zippered bags that come with your bed sheets? I also use some of those as packing cubes & as little bags for underwear and socks! Voila... Free packing cubes!
I never pay fees for overweight luggage. The shoes you see in this photo are all the pairs of shoes I own. As far as clothing, I do mostly solid colors which I can mix, match and wear over and over again.
My Go-To Pairs of Shoes
Birkenstocks, my purple Vans, my Utrarange Vans, beige Ipanema sandals, some ankle boots I bought in a market in Buenos Aires & those Bershka sandals that I pretty much never use.
Other Random Things I Travel With
Portable Charger - Can't post IG stories with a dead phone, amirite?
Harmonica - Because I really want to learn how to play an instrument, but needed a portable one. I do YouTube tutorials 3 times a week. HAHA!
A Copy of My Book - In case I need to shameless plug, take a photo with it or show it to someone... ya feel me?
Zucchini Spiralizer - Because I always *try* to eat healthy. Keyword try.
Jump Rope - No excuses when all you need is one of these for a quick cardio sesh.
Paisley Bandannas - As you may have notices, I'm obsessed with these. I wear them as scarves or headwraps to add a pop of color to my otherwise plain wardrobe.
That's about it... just send me a DM on Instagram if there's anything else you're curious about.
